Merril Miller is an AFAA certified and Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance . Her interest in Yoga began as a child attending Yoga classes with her parents and she started teaching in 2001. Her personal Yoga journey has exposed her to many different styles, but her initial teacher training is rooted in a vigorous Vinyasa style.
In addition to her Yoga experience, she has ten years experience in the fitness industry as a teacher and trainer. She brings this additional sensibility to her Yoga classes. She inherently can understand what the goal is for each individual practitioner and understands there are different ways to achieve it. This
takes into consideration the differences that our 'Western' bodies
have, and accounts for modifications that help attendees overcome the
effects that our modern lifestyle can have on the body.
Sasha Tretter - Pilates Instructor
Sasha Tretter graduated from Columbia College with a BA in Performance and Choreography and an MA in Elementary Education from DePaul. She has completed Stott Pilates mat and reformer training and Power Pilates certification. She is also an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor.
Sasha has a dynamic, high-energy approach with her classes and it is her desire to help each client feel comfortable while they reach for their own personal best. She is committed to helping others realize that exercise is an important path to healthy living.
Rebecca Welles is a NCSF-Certified
Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor who has been living in Chicago for the past ten years. She graduated from Colombia College with a BA in Theatre. Her concentration was in acting, but she also acquired skills in unarmed fighting, knife, rapier & dagger, small sword and broadsword stage and film choreography.
She originally became interested in the health & fitness industry out of the belief that being physically active and fit builds self confidence, increases life expectancy and provides an overall sense of happiness and fulfillment .
She has been working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past three years. She specializes in weight loss with an emphasis on lean and tone programs.
Mark Zanders, Jr. - Personal Trainer & Athletic Coach
Mark Zanders, Jr. is anAmerican Council On Exercise(ACE) Certified Personal Trainer with a background in
competitive team sports. Mark is dedicated to helping his clients get in shape
and also live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. His clients achieve
optimal overall fitness along with improved confidence and self-image.
Mark has over 10 years experience coaching youth basketball. He
has worked as the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at Luther
High School Northfor seven years and was head coach at St. John's Lutheranbefore that. He is experienced in helping both student
athletes and adults improve performance in a variety of sports through the
development and supervision of conditioning and training programs.
